So I can't sleep....obviously. I have alot of thoughts going through my head right now. All of them are about my baby boy. It started out like this...I went up to bed at like 11:45 because I was tired. So I go and I start to say my prayers and then I just start thinking alot about my little boy. All of the days events start rushing through my mind and some of them where I either lose my patience and snap at him or I am getting annoyed with the constant crying and whining because he didn't get his way. Then, I see his sad face and the tears in his eyes. Then, I hear him saying "oh mommy I'm so sorry.". Now I am crying. I am lying in bed silently crying thinking how in the heck can I be like that to such a sweet, beautiful little boy. How can I waste such precious time w/ my baby by getting frustrated and impatient with him when he is just a child. Then all of the sudden I hear "I'm thirsty". Right away my heart lept...I felt like he woke up on purpose, I mean yeah he was thirsty but I felt like it was for me. I got out of bed and just held him, and kept telling him how much I loved him. Then he softly told me he was thirsty again so I got him some water and went and layed with him in bed. I held him for a while before he fell asleep and just thought about how I wanted to be different. I want him to remember me as always (or most of the time) being happy and not always being rush rush hurry we have errands to run and not enough time to play. Siiiiiiiiiiiiigh.
So, I know this is an extremely odd blog but I guess I am also trying to see if I am not the only one that feels this way. Does anyone else go through this. I always see everyone else being so kind and patient. I feel like such a monster sometimes.

End of our Utah trip

So this was the end of our FABULOUS trip to Utah. We were able to see the beautiful Salt Lake Temple and have some good family time. While we there we stayed with Ron and Julianne (Beau's brother) so our kids were able to play and have a good time with their cousins.
The two girls in the picture with me are my sisters Olivia (the protector) and Rebecca (my beautiful twin). I was able to meet up with them and go to the park and then to the Pie for dinner. A very good ending to a very fun trip. We love you all

Thanksgiving Point

So here we are at Thanksgiving Point in UT. I think this is going to become a ritual. Every year snce being back in Iowa we go to Thanksgiving Point to ride the ponies and let the kids see the Barnyard farm. My sister Olivia and her kids Isaac, Hazel and Maddie come too. So much fun for the kids they love it.

Price, UT

Well what can I say. Nothing really Price is the BEST! It was nice to see Ann (mother in law) and Ron (father in law). We are so thankful that we have such a loving and kind family. Tucker and Tilly had a great time spending time with their grandparents. They were spoiled like you couldn't believe....and yes we are still dealing with the aftermath. Fun fun.
Beau was able to golf...and then golf some more. Yeah if I wanted to spend time w/ my lovely husband that meant riding along in the golf cart w/ him. I will say though I did show up him and his dad. Oh yeah I really did. hahaha...just once but I still did. So yes great times in Price.

St. George AHHHHHHHHHHH

So here we are. We started out our vacation in Cheyenne but I didn't have the camera then so too bad. After Cheyenne we went to Price and stayed there for about a week. There was ALOT of golfing yep....lots of fun with that. After Price we went to St. George for a family Reunion on the Olsen side. It was so nice to see all of my sisters and their families. We all had a great time. MINUS when we went hiking in Snow Canyon in 110 degree weather. Let's just say I wasn't in mood to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Beau took the kids back to Price after the reunion and then I stayed with my parents and sisters (minus one who has a hard time making it to Olsen family reunions...by the way you are always missed) at their condo. FABULOUS! I think my favorite part about St. George was Tuachan. For those who dont know what it is, it's like an outdooor Broadway show. SOOOO NICE! Oh wait no...my favorite was probably waking up, putting on my suit and laying out ALLLL DAY! yes fabulous

We're Coming HOME

So just thought I would put a little announcement. Seeing that we are SOOOO popular...hehehe. Well our little trip has come to an end. We are now on the last leg of our trip and eager to get back to our routine. We had a BLAST but we miss our friends and home. So, we will be back on the 22nd of August...LET THE FUN BEGIN! haha...no seriously though it will be good to be home and in a routine again. Can't wait to see you all!
