Love my little cowfolk! I love that Tucker and Tilly love to dress up in their cowboy clothes. It is just so stinkin cute!

Well here's my little man and little lady being the western folk that they are in their hearts. Tucker was set on dressing like "Hansom" today. Hansen is a cousin of mine that Tucker and Tilly watched in a rodeo. One of Tucker's many heros. Of course his daddy is the biggest and most important hero of all...and there are many others but anyways. Tucker asked me if he could get dressed like "Hansom" today. Then of course Sissy had to wear her boots as well and start in w/ saying "HEE-YAH" "HEE-YAH" as she is running back and forth. Now, Tucker keeps asking me if he can go ride the horses w/ Shannon (Hansen's sister, my cousin). Of course he can't, but he is just not getting it. So when we go back home to visit we HAVE to see the horses again. That is a must. We can't wait to go see family for the holidays!

So we had a great Thanksgiving thanks again to the...OH SO WONDERFUL Hunter's. So on Thanksgiving Day we went and had steak fondue w/ them becuase The Doctor was working..(ohhh so sad). We celebrated Thanksgiving on Friday and it was oh so lovely. One of my favorite days because of all the food. Delicious! And of course we had the annual Gingerbread house decorating event! I love to decorate...ALL BY MYSLEF! hahaha..It is supposed to be a family thing and yet I always seem to be w/out MY family. Beau was busy watching football and the kids were chasing Koda (Kyle and Angela's new dog).
I do realize that there are not any pictures of my husband. Well, the reason is because the pictures I did have of him didn't turn out. Beau and flashes do not mix. Anyways, I just want to say how thankful I am for all of the friends we have here in Iowa. They really do become a second family. We love and appreciate all of you.
P.s. if anyone can tell me why my camera is retarded and making fuzzy or hazy pictures please let me know. Thanks

Are you kidding me?

I am going to have to say that I was SHOCKED! WOW. I honestly thought for sure Deanna but NO. After watching I really felt bad for both girls. How sad they were...I mean they were really really crushed. Poor things. BUT on the other hand...if he wasn't feeling it then good for him. Then again he may be getting a little too comfy with his single bachelor life and doesn't want to just settle with one lovely lady (I personally don't think he is like that..because I know him so well hehehe)...if that is the case then ...well naughtiness. haha

Wind Beneath My Wings...

So I just watched Beaches lastnight. I love that movie. I cry everytime I watch it. I still remember watching it with my mom and sometimes my sisters...oh the memories. Anyways this song is on there, I know, I really do know. CHEEEEEEESY! BUT it is a very dear song to me. It reminds me of my mom. Growing up I remember listening to Bette all the time...and I remember singing it at the top of my lungs w/ my mom. I still do sing it and I LOVE IT! Drives Beau crazy though. haha
So I know not everything in this song applies to my mom but ALOT of it does. Or maybe I should say the main part...that Iknow. My mom is the wind beneath my wings. She is strong. And I do want to be everything that she is. She is such an amazing woman.

BUT I also am going to have to say that I have found and am married to my best friend he is also the wind beneath my wings. He has such a strength. I know I can depend on him for anything. He is there for anything and everything I need. I am in total aww of how physically (ohhh lala), emotionally and spiritually strong he is not just for himself but for me as well. With you by my side I am a better person and I thank you for that. I love you honey. So this song is for you as well....I know you love it. Just imagine me singing this to you with my broadway vocals.

So I am sorry folks but I am going to leave this song on my blog until after Thanksgiving. Because I love it.

My Epiphany....

Just a quick post here. I have been having such a hard time with patience lately. My kids have been getting into EVERYTHING! They are doing the EXACT opposite of what I say. I mean seriously my patience is shot. So anyways I got up this morning knowing that it was going to be another day w/ the testing of my patience. I was thinking on the way home from taking Beau to school how it was going to be another hard day. Well then I had an epiphany. I thought to myself "Sarah you need to pray and you need to read your scriptures not only for yourself but for the kids as well.". I know it's like DUH HELLO of course. But for me I mean I'll be honest I tr to be diligent but it doesn't always happen. So anyways, here I am reading out loud and what happens? That's right Tuck and Till come and sit on my lap and listen to me read the entire Chapter. I am so dead serious! It was seriously amazing. Anyways, all I have to say is that I felt that through out the remainder of the day I was given that extra bit of patience I needed. And instead of getting frustrated with everything...I thought to myself...."Self, these beautiful babies are not always going to be doing little things like this. And one day you will wish that they were here with you 24-7 doing these things." So blah blah blah. I know this is more like a journal entry but I just thought that this was neat because it was my little or big blessing of the day. So I know this didn't make sense but oh well. haha

He came....and then was gone...:(

So Beau and I were out and about last Saturday with my folks and we saw this sign that said "PUPPIES FOR SALE". I thought for sure my mom would like to look at them. SOOOO of course we stopped to look. I TOTALLY fell in love with one of them. He was 8 wks old and a Lhasa Apso. For those of you who don't know...Lhasa Apso's are a more mild dog...(not a yapper) and they have real hair so they don't shed. Anyways beau and I discussed and decided it would be good for the fam to get him. We were so flippin excited! He was soooo stinkin precious. Anways come to find out we can't have PUPPIES at The Hamptons (who knew we lived in such an uppity place). Nope...we can't. You can only have a dog if they are AT LEAST a year old. WHATEVER....dumb rule. Anyways we sold the little guy but I thought I would post a few of the cute little pics so you all could see. One day I WILL HAVE ANOTHER ONE. Oh yes...we named him SOX. WE MISS YOU SOX!

Happy Birthday Tilly

Okay these pictures look really fuzzy...sorry.
So Tilly is 2 years old. I honestly can't believe two years has gone by. Time flies way too fast! Well, poor little Tilly doesn't have any friends her age so we decided we would have a little family birthday party. And I must say it was actually really fun. The whole party was about princesses because she is showing interest in that stuff FINALLY! Forever it was only batman and superman. It is stil them but now she includs Cinderella and Barbie. FUN! Sissy is such a funny girl she has quite the personality. Here are 24 things about Sis that I love...there were more but I will do 24 for 2 yrs old! YAY!

1. She has the most amazing bed head i have ever seen

2. Tilly takes care of her brother.

3. She is extremely strong willed

4. She loves her family

5. She ALWAYS says the prayer. Even if someone else is saying it she will copy everything they say.

6. Tilly would sleep all day if I let her...she likes her sleep.

7. when Tucker is wrestling someone whether it be beau or braden she jumps right on it. She can hold her own

8. FEARLESS...that can be good and bad.

9. My kids have awesome manner...real lucky there but Tilly has some awesome manners...she always says please and thank you and excuse me. AMAZING

10. Whenever she gets in trouble she gets this really high pitched voice and says "sorry mom" and then smiles with her tongue sticking out.

11. When TIlly wakes up from a nap she immediatley asks where Tucker is or if she can have a "samich"

12. She is named after my twin

13. She loves to dance

14. She loves to play dressup ESPECIALLY with my makeup that she sneaks

15. I love it when she comes up to me and asks me to hold her out of the blue. It makes me feel like she is thinking about me and just wants to be close to me.

16. I love her smile and her beautiful eyes...and everything else about her

17. She has quite the appetite when it comes to spagetti, banana pancakes and cold cereal

18. The name Tilly comes from a book that I first read when I was 12 yrs old.

19. Tilly loves to play superheroes with her brother

20. I know it isn't nice but I think it is so funny how she scowls at Beau when he tells her not to do something.

21. Tilly has a strong spirit. She brings love and happiness into our home.

22. Tilly was a BEAUTIFUL suprise!

23. It's funny to watch Tilly copy everything Tucker does and says.

24. Tilly was 8lbs and 2 oz and born at 11:45 in the evening...15 mins before her due date.

So I am just now figuring out this video thing. Anyways I just thought I'd catch the kids doing what they love to do. Everytime they hear music they stop what they are doing and start dancing! I LOVE IT! Tucker comes up w/ some pretty amazing moves. Now Tilly...wow, future back up dancer! haha I think they get their dancing skills from Beau.

Some of you may be wondering where you can order such amazingly decorated cookies..well I will tell you a secret...I MADE THEM! No I really did. If you are nice to me I will make you some too. HAHAHAHAHHAHA

Yep so I'm a bit late with this post but I have visitors and so I am busy busy busy. Halloween was so fun for us this year. I think with kids each holiday gets more and more fun the older they get. At least for me that is how it is. So, we went to a FABULOUS Halloween Cookie making party and the kids loved eating the frosting and playing. I loved frosting the cookies and mingling w/ the lovely ladies! Thanks Andrea for having such a fun party! We then had a "party" for the neighborhood kids. My neighbors put it on. It was nice. THEN THE BEST....TRICK OR TREATING! HELLO FUN! I absolutely loved to watch batgirl and "the BLUE POWER RANGER" trick or treat this year. We went with Jen and Chris Russell and it was so fun! Tilly really caught on fast to the whole trickortreat concept. She was a bit...hmmm..what shall i say....AGGRESIVE. Man she pushed right on in there for her candy and did she take one? OH NO she helpd herself to all that she wanted. Yes, she knows what she wants. Then there was my shy little man. HAHAHA...he would stand back and watch until Tilly pushed him from behind and saying from behind, " come on Tu-ta trit or treat".
Then we went to a fabulous party hosted by my friend Kelly or should I say Encarnacion and Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacho. It was just an all around fabulous holiday for us! Thank you to all our friends for making it so fun for all of us! Anyways I am posting a few ofthe pics the rest will have to come later!
