Well we are alive here in Iowa. AND we have a new camera so we have a TON of pictures this post. Alot has happened that I haven't blogged about so if sometime down the road I throw something random out there just go with it.
First here are some pictures of the flood that Beau and I took. This is about 3 miles from our home.
I have a TON of spelling errors in this post because I couldn't really see the words I was typing so just ignore it because I'm not going to go through and fix it.

So sad to see all of these buisnesses and homes destroyed. A bit scary as well. This is the first time I have ever really been in a flood. It sure is scary what mother nature can throw at you within a blink of an eye.
Now onto some more positive pictures. SUMMER FUN! WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO! We love warm weather. I keep trying to really drive that point home to Beau. WARM WEATHER....HAPPY WIFE AND MOM. hahaha. Anyways enjoy the pictures!
These pictures were taken outside of the Iowa City Library. The kids and I played outside while Beau did "school stuff".
Pool time! Need I say more.
Now for the BEST part...
p.s. the grey van in the back is the newest addition to our family. HAHAHA

Sleeping Babies...
Ohhh how I love being a mom. I just went upstairs and couldn't resist holding my two babies while they slept. What precious gifts we are given. So delicate and fragile in so many different ways. My little Tucker is getting so big but to hold him while he sleeps reminds me of how small he really still is and I just need to cherish these times with him now before he gets to be alot bigger and ALOT more independent. Little Sissy...what a doll. While I was holding her I whispered that I loved her. She smiled in her sleep and said, "I love you too.". It melted my heart. I am so grateful that I was blessed with such beautiful, sweet spirits. The lord really must trust me to give me such valuable little spirits.
As I was going upstairs I saw that Tucker and Tilly had gotten into some baskets that had blankets and what not for a crib and the baby. They had thrown it all over the place. All I could do was smile. Smile because I would rather that they were here with me to do that instead of gone or not here at all. Goodness how I love those two.
Well, I know that this post was a little out of the blue but I want to remember these moments. Sorry no pictures my camera is broken and I am shopping around for a new one. Goodnight.

Mt. Timpanogos Temple May 8, 2003
So it was our Anniversary on May 8th. Yes I know I that I am a month late but I am really behind on a ton of stuff. Sorry. Annnnd to be honest we didn't do a thing. BUT that's okay we'll have a good one next year. I did look through my wedding photos though, and can I just tell you how I love to look back and remember that day and all the excitement! Love it.
Beau and I were married May 8th 2003. It really doesn't seem that long ago. Probably because it really wasn't...I mean it has only been 5 years. hehe. Anyways I just wanted to post a few photos of the wedding day and my favorite of the man I fell in love with.
Wow....what a stud huh? OW BABY!
I loved my flowers by the way. Soft pink roses. Soooo pretty.
Such a fun and romantic day! Ahhh the memories!
