Daddy of em' all

That's right folks I went to Reba and Trisha Yearwood! Can I just say AMAZING! Those are my two favorite female country singers. I've always loved Reba's voice. Anyways It was awesome. My mom and I scored big...my best friend here in WY gave us free tickets to their concert today and it was so much fun. I think it was a great way to end my visit here in Cheyenne. I've loved it! If any of you ever have a chance you need to come to frontier days!

My Friends have come out to play....

Okay once again I am having a problem. It happens every single time I come to WY from IA or back to IA from WY. I HATE IT! When I was probably 13 I used to get the nastiest and biggest zits on the side of my nose and my chin. I used to cry because I thought that was why a certain guy didn't like me (instead he liked my twin) I mean this was traumatic. Well, my mom one day in the middle of my sobbing told me that when I got older it would go away. Hmmmm...well I am now 27 and they are still flarin red! What the heck! I mean come on....I live in Iowa I have bad hair but okay skin. I come home and I have great hair and major breakout city. When am I going to get a break. Right now I have a HUGE under the skin zit on my chin. I look like one of those witches with a mole. I also have several friends that came out to play right under my nose and above my lip. BUT HEY I HAVE GREAT HAIR! So there...my blog entry for the day. Very Pointelss but oh well...until I get my camera back this is what you all have to look forward to. HAHAHA.

Good Ol' Wyoming

Well here we are in good ol' Wyoming. Nothin like coming home for a visit. Love this place. My History teacher in High School once told me that Wyoming was God's country. At the time I was like uhhh yeah you are sooooo dillusional. BUT after many years of growing up and being away, I have come to see the beauty that I didn't at the time. I love the smell of the prairies after a nice rain. The smell of horses and tobacco. I know that sounds so wierd but what can I say. I am not by any means saying I am a cowgirl...because I'm not...but I am country and proud of it baby! I like to tell people you can take the girl out of Wyoming but you can't take Wyoming out of the girl. Yep.
Well just thought I would put in a little update there. We are off to watch my uncle and cousins in a rodeo right now. Tucker is really excited, he loves to see the animals. Just don't get to close that's all. Well I will be posting more pictures in a while. Beau has the camera in Jamaica right now.

Friends

These are some of the wonderful people we got to celebrate the 4th with. At top there is Candice and her adorable little guy Tommy. Below is Heather, Sarah and Rachelle. Don't they all look hot!

Oh neat....Beau and his buddy are hangin. Hey guys havin fun? ohh...so precious.
So this is the "Doctor" haaha. Him and his wife Lorene and their whole stinkin fam acutally are just amazingly kind people. They were so awesome to my brother in law's family and they are the same to us. We really appreciate and are thankful for their friendship.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone. We had such a good time. Our day started out by going to the parade. I swear you get more candy there then you do Trickor Treating. Beau and I really enjoy taking the kids. they have fun for about the first 20 min. It was SOO stinkin hot and sticky. By the end of the parade when they would throw the candy nobody would move because they were too tired and hot. It was actually pretty funny to watch.
They had alot of neat old cars and Candy and clowns and MORE CANDY! Over all another great experience for the fam.
After the parade we went home and Beau and the kids took a nap. Then got up and went to a BBQ at some of our friends house. It was just really alot of fun. Nothing like a good ol BBQ on the 4th.
The fireworks show was awesome as usual. We went with our very good friends Kyle, Angela, Lorene and the good ol Doc. We all enjoyed the show. Although if you asked Beau he wouldn't be able to tell you. He had to go hide behind a wall during the whole thing. Tilly and Tucker were freaked out the entire time. Tucker at least just sat on my lap and covered up with a blanket. Tilly was screaming bloody murder. Poor Beau....and the kids.

Why in the HELL there are protesters inthe 4TH OF JULY parade I don't know. I HATE that. HATE IT! So there we are with Kyle and Angela getting ready for the fireworks. They are such good friends to us.

Tucker is hiding his face in this group picture because one of the dads was trying to get his kids to smile but it was scaring Tucker. My poor little guy. He gets scared easily.

Yep Iowa Hawkeyes BABY!
Sissy during the parade. I swear she opened about thirty different pieces of candy, took a lick and then opened another. What a little princess. Oh, I forgot to tell everyone. It was so cute....when the clowns came around in their cars my kids FREAKED! Tucker was shaking he was so afraid. He covered his eyes....Tilly hid her face in Beau's armpit and was crying. SERIOUSLY what is wrong w/ my children. poor things.

Moving Day/NIGHT

So it was moving Day for Don and Lara so Beau
and his dad helped them out quite a bit. I have
never seen so many little knick knacks. It was
fine though. Tilly and Tucker kept themselves
entertained with the awesome blue helmet that
was laying around. All i have to say is Beau and
the big red helmet. Some of you know what that
means. They take after their father!

Yep, that's me...no it isn't a super star! haha
Ron (father in law) Beau and Don. what a team

They love their poppa. It's cute they call their grandpas
poppa. Beau's dad has white hair so he is the white poppa
My dad has dark hair so he is the black poppa. I know that
sounds bad but it is because of the hair coloring. Tucker
came up with it.
